WORK PLACEMENT PROGRAMS

Through its Work Placement Programs (WPPs), Emirates Steel ensures that adequate information and knowledge is transferred to interns who will benefit from this experience, which introduces them to the professional working environment.

In addition, WPP offers graduating students the opportunity to impress future employers, assist them in taking the first steps in their future careers and provide them with a good preparation for future employment. On average, Emirates Steel provides opportunities to 40 - 60 interns annually, from a wide range of institutes, colleges and universities in the UAE and internationally.

WPP provides young generations with an in-depth knowledge of the industrial sector in the UAE, which is fast becoming a significant contributor to the progress and development of the nation`s economy and society. WPP provides a different perspective and context to academic learning, with the opportunity to put learnt theories into practice. Throughout the program, students can get a better feel of a whole range of professional work competencies, from learning about time management and teamwork to adapting to workplace culture and environment. Our program provides interns with the chance to experience different areas of interest for their future careers.
